Fundraising communications frequently requires messaging that is distinct from awareness, marketing or advocacy messaging. Quite often, the objectives of fundraising messaging may well sit diametrically opposite to other messaging objectives. It is often a difficult balance to achieve to put together those elements into a donor engagement piece that is effective whilst producing fundraising goals. CSG uses our experience in creative content generation and fundraising insights gained from decades of statistical A/B testing to best advice organisations on their engagement communications. Our sector specific experience gives us a depth of understanding on what donor preferences are and what elicits their engagement.
Using our expertise, we have more than tripled net donation revenues for our clients’ fundraising campaigns – we have raised in the order of several hundred thousand USD per campaign, and cumulatively into the millions in USD. Many of these campaigns are unrestricted funding in nature and goes directly to support organisations’ services - services which are hard to fund and did not receive any funding from external corporate or institutional funders. Such unrestricted funding also support capacity building and future growth initiatives for the organisations.
